Thankful for a lot this October 2020
My livelihood revolves around the people I work with and it has been awesome to be back doing the job I love. I have always enjoyed being a physio but the separation form in-person work over the past six months crystallized how much I enjoy my work. I have been fortunate to have a number of different clients return and new patients enter the business since starting back in September. I am thankful for this support and the opportunity to help people live a healthier life.
With two growing kids and full work schedules, life can feel full of obligations, but I try my best thankful each day for all that we have. From supportive family, to nice neighbours and fulfilling jobs we live a “rich” life.
Covid had a big impact on our family but we still had a safety net and at least one full time job. Like so many things in life Covid has disproportionately effected those in lower socioeconomic groups. I am thankful for what we have and hope that are representatives in parliament help support those who have been hardest hit by this pandemic. As we move through this strange time let us all aspire to live with a little more compassion, a greater dose of humility, and an appreciation for what we have.
Thanks again to everyone in my life!
